Mouries Farm

Mouries Farm is a Skyrian horse breeding and conservation center. The Skyrian horse is a rare breed of small-sized horse which reaches up to a height of 110 cm and there are just a few hundreds specimen left. The farm takes care of the survived species, trying to prevent their extinction with the helm of volunteers who come from all over the world.

In Mouries Farm you can see the horses and their foals, take photos and get information, and your kids can even take a ride. The horses are used to humans and kids and they are very friendly. Next to the farm there is also a taverna where you can try local specialties,

The farm is located in the center of the island, 6 km away from Skyros Chora.
