Aspous

Aspous can hardly be called a village - it is rather a small resort which has developed around a beach. It is located on the east coast of Skyros, approximately 4 km away from Skyros Chora and in the narrowest part of the island which makes it easy to reach the west coast.

The beach of Aspous is sandy and relatively shallow around the shore but despite its size, there is no beach bar to provide sunbeds and parasols. Along the road which goes to Linaria one can find a supermarket, two tavernas and one cafe-bar which is in fact by the sea but there are rocks in front of it. The hotels and guesthouses are scattered behind the beach or along the road.
