Linaria

Linaria is the main port of Skyros, located on the west coast of the island opposite Evia. The only ferry which connects Skyros and Evia leaves in the morning and comes back in the afternoon but in certain days it makes two courses per day.

The village of Linaria is small and its white houses are built amphitheatrically above the port. At the promenade there are cafes, tavernas, a mini market, an artisan ceramics shop and ATM. The closest beach is Acherounes, just 1 away, but within 6 km you can find larger beaches like Pefkos, Kalamitsa and Aspous.
