Monastery of Agios Georgios
The monastery of Agios Georgios is located inside the walls of Skyros Castle Town, at the very entrance of the fortress. It is considered that the monastery originates from the 10th century but the main church was built about 400 years ago. Currently there is only one monk who lives there.
