Agii Theodori

The beach seen from the road

This little known beach is located on the northeast coast of Sithonia, close to Kortiri beach. They also call it Metangitsi beach, after the name of the nearby mountainous village. There are no signs or designations, although the beach is visible from above, and you will see only a narrow road leading to a sole house. This usually makes people think that the road is private and the beach is not accessible but the same road leads down to it, you just need to walk for 300 meters. There is another way to reach the beach from the north side, via a footpath which starts from the main road and slopes down for 200 meters until it reaches the sand.

Agii Theodori is a long and wide beach surrounded by sea cliffs from both sides. The sand is coarse and mixed with small pebbles, especially around the shore. The water is shallow and clean. No facilities are available on this beach and you should bring your own water, food and sun protection. The house is built at the south end and there is plenty of space, and the rocks in the north end are very good for snorkeling.

The area around is also known as Agii Theodori and it offers villas to rent but they are all relatively remote from this beach.
