Metangitsi

Metangitsi (Metagkitsi) is a semi-mountainous village in the northeast part of Sithonia. It is 4 km away from the seaside and the closest beaches are Kortiri and Akti Salonikiou. The village is connected via good road network to all the villages in the area, including to Metamorfosi on the other side of Sithonia.

Metangitsi is a village where locals live all year round. By the small square you will find some cafeterias, mini markets, pharmacy and bakery. There are also a few traditional tavernas which get quite popular in the evenings. Accommodation is very limited but yet there are a few complexes with studios and apartments to rent, as well as holiday homes.
