Arnaia

Arnaia (or Arnea) is an old inland village in the center of Halkidiki peninsula. It is away from the seaside and the closest beaches are 26 km away, in the area of Pyrgadikia, Sithonia.

The villages is relatively large, with permanent population of approximately 2 300 residents. Most of the houses are renovated in the traditional for the region style, with paved alleys, especially around the square where you will also find choice of tavernas and cafes. The real beauty of the village hides in the tranquil narrow alleys accessible only for pedestrians, so do not hesitate to leave your car and take a stroll. In Arnaia you can also visit the History and Folklore Museum.
