Spalathronisia

Boats moored at the pier

It is not very sure if this beach has a particular name but it overlooks the cluster of tiny uninhabited islets called Spalathronisia. It lies on the southwest coast of Sithonia, between the beaches of Koutsoupia and Areti and is not a popular destination at all but it is known for the old fish tavern by the sea, called Panos.

Spalathronisia is small, narrow and quite rocky, with large pebbles and boulders both on the shore and the sea. No sunbeds and parasols to rent are provided. Aqua shoes are highly recommendable if you decide to swim here because you may stumble upon sea urchins. There is a small pier for boats and yacht who often come to visit the tavern. The road which passes just behind the beach connects it with the neighbor beaches, and the area is very green and peaceful, with only a few private houses and villas hidden among the trees.
