Sea Caves of Antiparos
This is the name of a group of sea caves on the southernmost coast of Antiparos. Located between Agios Georgios and the beach of Faneromeni, they are the main attraction of the organized boat cruises in the area. Boat tours depart from Antiparos Chora and Agios Georgios, as well as from the neighbor island of Paros.
Enthusiasts can also visit the caves on foot - a dirt road which starts near Siopi beach leads to a hill above the caves, after that you need to descend for 300 meters until you reach the shore. The sea water around the caves is vivid blue and transparent, perfect for swimming and diving. The rocks are of volcanic origin, white and porous, and somehow they remind of the nature sight Kleftiko in Milos island.
Nearby is also the cave of Epitafios which is another stop of the organized cruises.
