Agios Georgios

One of the many beaches

Agios Georgios is an area on the south coast of Antiparos. It has a narrow sandy strip with a series of small beaches, overlooking the uninhabited islet of Despotiko.

Agios Georgios is slowly developing, with plenty of new holiday homes and hotels built in the last decade. There are a few tavernas and cafes to serve the needs of visitors, all located by the sea and the small pier for boats. The beaches are very small, located next to each other but separated by rocks. The largest of them, called Vathis Volos, has sunbeds and parasols in the summer.

Boat trips are available to the opposite islet of Despotiko where you can visit an ancient sanctuary.
