Antiparos Chora

Main pedestrian street

Antiparos Chora or just Chora is the main village of the island of Antiparos. One can also say it is the only village because the rest settlements on the island are newly formed neighborhoods with hotels and villas.

Тravelers from Paros often visit Chora for a day or even for an evening walk. It has a small promenade with cafes and restaurants, and a main street full of more places to eat, small shops for souvenirs, clothes and accessories. The main street leads to the most emblematic place of Antiparos - Kastro. Kastro is a well-preserved Venetian castle dating back to 15 century, built as a square-shaped fortified settlement.

It is easy to explore the rest part of the island from Chora, and it is a good choice for accommodation if you want to find a quiet beach during the day but to enjoy lively atmosphere in the evening.
