Psili Ammos
Psili Ammos is considered by many the best beach of Serifos, with its fine sand and transparent shallow water. It is located on the east coast of the island, 3 km away from the port of Livadi and near the beach of Agios Sostis.
Psili Ammos has very soft fine sand and tropical like blue water. The sea is very shallow and safe even for toddlers, thus making it the primary choice for families with small kids. The place is popular, so do not expect privacy during July and August. There are also two beach tavernas operating at Psili Ammos where you can have lunch or get drinks for take-away but they do not offer sunbeds or parasols to rent. People bring their own beach equipment or lay their towels under the shade of the low trees by the sea.
The beach is accessible via road in good condition but the parking spaces of the tavernas are limited. Most visitors park along the road and then go down to the beach via a path of concrete steps.
