Piso Aliki

The large pebbles at the bach

Piso Aliki is 300 meters long beach next to Aliki village, Paros island. Behind the beach there is a dirt road that starts from the village and goes towards Naoussa.

The beach is very pebbly, covered with boulders and with a few sandy patches. The sea is shallow and the water is clear but the sea bottom is pebbly, too. Tamarix (salt cedar) trees offer protection from the sun. The place is not organized, there are no beach bars, parasols or sunbeds. There are not many visitors, because of the pebbles, and the place is calm and unspoiled. At the east end of the beach taverna tables are placed under the shades of a group of trees.
