Lagouvardos
Lagouvardos (also Lagkouvardos) is a sandy beach close to the village of Marathopoli, Messinia region. It is on the west coast of Peloponnese, 4 km away from the center of Marathopoli.
Lagouvardos has a wide sandy strip with a length of 500 meters. The water is shallow but strong waves often appear and the place is popular among surfers. In the summer a beach cantina operates here and sunbeds and parasols are available. There are no other facilities, around the beach only a few summer houses can be found.
