Gazatika

Gazatika is a neighborhood of houses and villas near the main road between Corfu Town and Paleokastritsa, Corfu island. A small road detours near the village of Poulades and follows the hill slope towards Gazatika. The area is covered with loose forest which hides the place from curious eyes and isolates it from the nose and traffic. At the same time, its location is perfect to use as a starting point to explore the entire island.

The neighborhood consist of a few dozen houses and villas, most of them with big yards. Some houses are old, made of stone and carry the spirit of past times. Other houses are new or renovated but retain the look and feel of the local architectural style. The villas and holiday homes for rent emphasize on the relaxing atmosphere and discrete location. Less than 2 km away are Gouvia and Dassia which offer the complete opposite experience - populous touristic destination with many shops, bars and restaurants.
