Agia Theodoti

Agia Theodoti

Agia Theodoti is one of the largest beaches on Ios island but due to its secluded location, it has few visitors even in high season. In order to reach it, you need to follow a road from Ios Chora and cross the hills in the middle of the island. Agia Theodoti is on the northeast coast (10 km from Chora).

The beach is long and predominantly sandy, with clean blue water and rocks from both sides. There is a seasonal beach cafe, as well as a few hotels and a taverna, scattered on the hill behind Agia Theodoti and the homonymous white church. Except for the tranquility, another positive of this beach is the view - in the distance ahead you can clearly two of the Small Cyclades islands - Iraklia and Schinousa.
