Agia Efimia is a harbor village on the northeast coast of Kefalonia, opposite Ithaki island. It is 7 km away from the port of Sami and Melissani Cave which are easily accessible via the coastal road.
Agia Efimia is small but lively, with a nice promenade and a wind-sheltered marine. Along the promenade you will find enough tavernas, cafes and shops, and also a good choice of hotels. The village has no beach, except for a narrow strip of pebbles next to the port, but north and south of Agia Efimia there are tiny pebbled beaches with transparent water.
The famous Myrtos beach is 9 km away.
