Karavomylos is a seaside village in east Kefalonia, popular for the Melissani Cave Lake. The village is very close to the port of Sami and the distance between both is less than 2 km.
Karavomylos offers plenty of hotels, guesthouses and places to eat. Except for the Melissani Cave, another landmark of the village is the Karavomylos lake with its ducks. The lake is right by the sea and attracts visitors mainly in the evenings, for a walk and rest on the benches.
