Klimatia

beach

The small beach Klimatia is hidden in a cove close to the village of Liapades. It is right next to Limni Beach but a big rock separates them. It is 10 meters long and very secluded but yet there is a chance that you won`t be alone there. You can reach it by boat taxi (as most people do) but we can give you a tip how to go there by car (and partially on foot).

First you need to follow the same instructions which lead to Limni Beach: On the way to Liapades Beach, there is a small supermarket Athena. On its left side you will see a narrow road going up - take it. In about 50 m you will reach a small crossroad - do not turn right (this will lead you to Rovinia) and go straight only. The road is narrow with some sharp turns but in a good condition. In 1.5 km you will clearly see the sea on your right side from above. Soon you will reach a small lay-by on your left side and a dirt road going down on your right side. Now you can either leave your vehicle on the lay-by and take the dirt road on foot, or you can continue driving on the dirt road. As you go straight for 100-150 m, the road will turn slightly left and you will reach a yellow fence with Greek inscription forbidding the entrance for cars. You must continue on foot now. Follow the path after the fence and it will lead you down to Klimatia Beach.
