Nea Fokea

Nea Fokea

Nea Fokea is a traditional fishing village at a distance of 75 km from Thessaloniki. It is located on the northeast coast of Kassandra, between Nea Potidea and Afitos.

Nea Fokea is well known with its fish taverns and the old Byzantine tower right by the sea and the port. The tower is closed for visitors but in the village you can visit the cave sanctuary of St. Paul - an underground room carved into a rock.

The beach is sandy and the atmosphere is relaxed. In the surroundings you can find small isolated beaches with pine trees.
