Nea Potidea

Nea Potidea

Nea Potidea or just Potidea is located at the very beginning of Kassandra peninsula, and it is divided by a narrow isthmus. In the isthmus a waterway links the two shores of the peninsula. Nea Potidea is the only resort located both on the east and the west coast of Kassandra.

The sea is calm and clean and the beach - long and wide. On both seasides the hotels and restaurants are concentrated around the beach. Along the waterway you can see the ruins of the ancient Potidea colony - the place on which the today`s settlement is built. The resort is suitable for people with children.

One km southeast of the resort you can see the Temple of the Archangels.
