Megalo Fanaraki

The distant end of the beach

Fanaraki is a small rocky promontory 4 km away from the village of Moudros, Limnos. It has a few beaches and the larger of them are known as Megalo Fanaraki and Mikro Fanaraki.

Megalo Fanaraki is the largest beach in the area. It is entirely sandy, with very shallow water around the shore. The sea is always calm and suitable for toddlers, with gently sloping sea bottom. A small part of the beach has a functioning beach cafe in the summer which provides sunbeds and parasols for the clients.
