Malliadiko

Malliadiko

Malliadiko is one of the less known beaches of Serifos. Located in a cove on the south coast of island, it is midway from Megalo Livadi and Koutalas. You can easily miss it if you come from Koutalas because there are no signs.

From the main road you need to follow a dirt road which leads just above the beach and then to take the remaining distance on foot (approximately 100 meters). Malliadiko has a few trees, like most beaches on Serifos and sometimes you can stumble upon tents and wild campers, due to the isolated location of the beach and the lack of any buildings or cantinas nearby. The shore is covered with a mixture of coarse sand and pebbles, and the sea bottom has flat rocks after the first few meters.

The big holes you will notice on the hills above Malliadiko are abandoned mine galleries.
