Kastro Folegandros

Kastro Folegandros is an old fortified settlement inside Folegandros Chora. It is the oldest part of the village and spreads to the edge of the cliffs, approximately 200 meters above the sea.

The houses in Kastro are small and built without any space between them to form a wall, each entrance has individual stairs. There are also arches and small tunnels, and many of the houses are still inhabited.
