Folegandros Chora

Aerial view of Chora

Folegandros Chora is the main village of Folegandros. It is known as one of the most scenic island capitals of the Cyclades and has retained its authentic spirit.

The central part of Chora is car-free, with a small square, narrow alleys and white churches. Inside the village you will also see Kastro Folegandros, a Medieval fortified settlement with preserved architecture. Chora is great for a walk both during the day and in the evenings, and there are plenty of tavernas serving local specialties. Next to the village is the Church of Panagia.

Folegandros Chora is located 3 km away from the port of Karavostasis, and Agkali beach is 4 km away.
