Firopotamos

Firopotamos

The picturesque village of Firopotamos, Milos, is both a fishing port and a beach with amazing blue water. It is very small, with a couple of houses with "syrmata" - boat garages on the ground floor of the houses, just in front of the sea. The place is good for swimming, fishing and snorkeling around the rocks surrounding the beach.

At Firopotamos you can see the ruins of an ancient building (not known what it used to be) and a small church. There is one canteen operating at the beach in the summer.
