Finikia

Finikia is rather a neighborhood with houses than a village. It is almost like a suburb of Heraklion because it is just a few km away from the last buildings of the town. The closest beach is Ammoudara, approximately 9 km away from Finikia. There are not many facilities for tourists in the village, except for a small supermarket, taverna and a bakery, but everything in and around Heraklion Town can be reached very fast.
