Avdira

Lonely sunbed and parasol by the sea

Avdira is a small village in Xanthi Region. It is approximately 6 km away from the sea and its seaside area is called Avdira beach or Skala Avdiron.

The beach of Avdira is long and sandy, with shallow water. It merges with the neighbor beach of Myrodato where you will find a few beach bars and tavernas. Accommodation is available in small villas and guest houses located around the sea, and in the village there are supermarkets and restaurants. In the village of Avdira you can also visit two small museums - one archeological and one folklore.
