The Arch of Galerius

The Arch of Galerius is one of the monuments left from the complex of Galerius. It is located in the center of Thessaloniki, next to the Rotunda.

The Arch was constructed around 4th century to celebrate the victory over the Persians. The sculpted decorations on the pillars are well preserved and depict battle scenes.
