Old Town of Skiathos

The Old Town of Skiathos is the neighborhood around the port and the small peninsula which ends with Plakes beach. This part of the town is car-free, with narrow alleys, steps and lots of flowers. In summer these alleys are full of cafes, tavernas and small shops. Places beach is a scenic rocky spot for swimming with nice views.

In the Old Town you can visit the Church of Panagia Limnia, the house museum of Alexandros Papadiamantis and the folklore museum Skithiatiko Spiti.
