Plataria
The almost unknown village of Plataria lies in a deep bay between Syvota and Igoumenitsa. It is used mostly as a yacht port but in the last few years it has started to develop as a resort so plenty of hotels and villas to stay are available. Plataria has a small center next to the port, with a couple of tavernas and a narrow promenade along the beach. There are also supermarkets and a filling station.
The beach is long, with coarse sand and some beach facilities like parasols and sunbeds offered by a few beach cafes. Compared to the lively Syvota (10 km away), it is very quiet both in the day and in the evening.
