Panagia Paraportiani

Panagia Paraportiani is the most emblematic church of Mykonos. It is located next to the old port of Mykonos Town, on the way to Little Venice and the famous windmills.

The first thing you will notice about this church is its strange shape with many curves - this is because its actually consists of 5 separate churches, built in different periods during the years. The first church was constructed in 15 century, and the rest were consecutively built next to or on the top of each other and merged together.
