Nymfes, one of the larger villages in north Corfu
, lies on a small elevation surrounded by greenery and fresh air. Its remoteness from the seaside still keeps it away from the tourist bustle. The closest beaches are those of Roda
, approximately 6-7 km away, and the place provides quiet and undisturbed accommodation.
Nymfes has many old houses built in traditional style and the streets and alleys of the village are quite narrow, some reachable only on foot, others hardly allowing two cars to pass at the same in opposite directions. There are a few small cafeterias and tavernas in which you can enjoy the hospitality of the locals but no other facilities or services are available, except for a mini market.
