Skripero

Away from the seaside in north Corfu, Skripero is neither famous among nor visited by tourists. It lies 8 km away from Ipsos and Dassia on the east coast, and 13 km from Paleokastritsa on the west coast. Skripero is a semi-mountainous village surrounded by high hills on one side and by green valleys from the other. Quiet and small but yet offering a super market, bakery, gas station and pharmacy, it is suitable for calm holidays in authentic island atmosphere. Most of the houses here are old and in the typical Corfiot architecture.

Within 5 km you can reach the village of Ano Korakiana, and just out of Skripero there is a small monastery open to visitors.
