Kalifteri

Kalifteri is a beach just next to Afissos village, Pelion. It is located approximately 1 km away from the center of Afissos and it represents a narrow but long strip of pebbles. Behind the beach there are many green trees with houses and small hotels between them. A few beach bars operate on Kalifteri in the summer and the provide sunbeds and parasols, and the place is usually calmer than the beach of Afissos which may get extremely crowded in weekends and holidays.

Note that nevertheless the distance to Afissos center is about 1 km, there is no footpath or shortcut - you need to get back to the main road and walk or drive to the village.
