Monastery of Agios Stefanos
The nunnery of Agios Stefanos is one of the Meteora monasteries. It has the easiest access because the parking lot is just before its entrance and there are no stairs to climb.
The monastery houses a church from the 16th century, a museum with manuscripts, icons and ecclesiastic products, and a small souvenir shop from which you can buy gifts and books about Meteora. Men with shorts and women with trousers or sleeveless tops are not allowed to enter. If you are not dressed properly, you will be given clothes at the monastery entrance.
The entrance fee is about EUR 3 per adult. Visiting hours: every day from 09:00 to 13:30 and from 15:30 to 17:30.
The monastery stays closed for visitors on Mondays.
