Kalamos

Beach wtih blue water and weird rocks

Kalamos is a blue cove on the east coast of Evia, close to Agii Apostoli. It is characterized by the weird rock formation with a big hole which divides the beach in two parts.

In the summer the north part of Kalamos is organized by a couple of beach tavernas and almost fully occupied by sunbeds and parasols. The sand is mixed with small pebbles, the water is blue and transparent and the place can get quite busy in July and August. The south part of the beach has no facilities.
