Skala Sotiros

Skala Sotiros (also Skala Sotiras) is a fishing harbor situated on the west coast of Thassos island, 3 km from Skala Prinos. It offer easy access to the largest villages of the island, Limenaria to the south and Limenas to the north.

Next to the harbor there is a small beach with coarse sand. sunbeds and parasols are provided by several beach cafes. The main road of the island passes through the entire village, as hotels are located on both sides of the road and the tavernas are cafes are at the harbor. The beaches in the area are predominantly narrow and pebbled but traveling in this part of the island takes less time and you will have the opportunity to reach faster many more beaches, including sandy.

The mountainous village of Sotiras is located 3 km away from Skala Sotiros, at an altitude of 380 m. The houses are in traditional style, built amphitheatrically with view to the sea, and at the village square you will find an old village, fountain from 1888 and a taverna.
