Kryoneri is one of the liveliest beaches in the region of Maronia. It has a long sandy strip with shallow water. Part of the beach has sunbeds and parasols provided by two beach bars, and the municipality has also placed umbrellas free of charge. There are two playgrounds for children and lots of free space.

Accommodation is available in a few small guest houses and in the only campsite for the area - Kryoneri Camping.
