Kaminaki
Kaminaki is a small beach on the northeastern coast of Corfu which used to be almost unknown until recently. Today it offers villas and rooms to rent among olive groves and quietness. There are also several restaurants by the sea and a supermarket. The road which slopes down to Kaminaki is quite steep and not much suitable for everyday walks if your accommodation is around the main road. Car, own or rented, is recommendable for this part of the island.
The beach has no sand but small pebbles. The water is very clean and calm and it looks amazing blue because of the pebbles. Aqua shoes should be considered for possible encounters with sea urchins around the rocks. Next to the beach there is also a small stone pier and you can rent a boat.
