Dio Choria

View to the village from the main road

Dio Choria literally means ”two villages” and indeed, these used to be two separate villages in the past now united in one. The village is built in one of the highest locations in Tinos and has spectacular sea view.

Dio Choria has natural springs and plenty of water. At the village square you will find tables and chairs of two tavernas, under the shadow of big trees. The architecture is preserved and Dio Choria is car-free so you have to leave your vehicle at the lower part of the village and continue on foot.
