Agios Fokas

Small trees at the beach and sand around the shore

Agios Fokas is a long sandy beach, located 1 km away from the center of Tinos Chora. It has both free zone with low trees and sections with beach bars and amenities.

The beach is covered with soft dark yellow sand around the shore. The west part of Agios Fokas is narrow and have some pebbles as well, but it gets wider in east direction and sometimes the east end is referred to as Vriokastro beach, after the nearby hill which used to be acropolis in the past (there are no visible traces of the acropolis nowadays).
