Varko

Varko is considered one of the best beachеs in the area around Paleros village and on the mainland next to Lefkada island. It is not suitable for sand castles as it is covered with coarse sand and pebbles. The water however is crystal clean and the bottom can be easily seen, a perfect place for swimming and diving with snorkel. In the middle of the beach there are two small wooden piers which are great for kids to jump and splash in the water. The area is protected from strong winds and currents which make the sea calm and without big waves. Multiple yachts stop in-front of the beach for a few hours on their routes around Lefkada island.

At Varko beach there is a taverna with sunbeds and parasols.
