Trypiti

Trypiti is the name of a beach in the southwest of the island of Thassos. It is located right after the long beach of Limenaria, 2 km away from the village.

At Trypiti there is one big hotel and a few smaller. The beach is relatively wide and sandy, part of it is occupied by sunbeds of cafeterias. Strong waves are likely to appear in windy days and in some places the water goes deep suddenly so be careful, especially if you have young children. In one of the ends of Trypiti there is a small sea cave.
