Temploni

Temploni is a very small village in the center of Corfu, with access to both the east and west coast. It lies in a valley close to the main island road which connects Corfu Town with Paleokastritsa.

The village is old and scarcely populated. Most of the houses are dilapidated and for sale, with large green spaces between them. The place slightly comes to life in the evening when tourists from neighbor villages come to the only taverna of Temploni - a nice restaurant with tasty food and reasonable prices. The newer buildings of the village are summer residences but you will not meet many people.

The beach of Ermones on the west coast is 7 km away, and Gouvia on the east seaside is 6 km away. The scenic Paleokastritsa is also easily accessible within 12 km.
