Seralia

Seralia

In the past Seralia used to be the harbor of Kastro. It is on the east coast of Sifnos, below the hill of Kastro and the Church of Efta Martyres.

Today Seralia is neither a village, nor a harbor. It has two fish tavernas right by the sea, and a tiny beach with boulders and a few municipal parasols. There are often waves and the sea is rough, so it is not suitable for kids or people who cannot swim. You can take a glimpse of the place on your way to the church of the Seven Martyrs, but there is a separate road which leads to it. The road ends at a point above the beach and then you need to go down on a path with steps.
