In the past Seralia used to be the harbor of Kastro
. It is on the east coast of Sifnos
, below the hill of Kastro and the Church of Efta Martyres.
Today Seralia is neither a village, nor a harbor. It has two fish tavernas right by the sea, and a tiny beach with boulders and a few municipal parasols. There are often waves and the sea is rough, so it is not suitable for kids or people who cannot swim. You can take a glimpse of the place on your way to the church of the Seven Martyrs, but there is a separate road which leads to it. The road ends at a point above the beach and then you need to go down on a path with steps.
