Porto Limnionas

Porto Limnionas has been gaining popularity in the recent years and it even has a taverna. It is a narrow channel between sea cliff, with plenty of sea caves in them. Because of the rocky landscape, the sea has amazing transparent blue color.

Porto Limnionas is located in the west side of Zakynthos, close to the village of Agios Leon. Once in the village, there are signs that will guide you to the place. The parking is above the channel and then you should go down by steps in the rock. There is no beach here but the flat rocks by the sea are used instead of sand and people spread their beach towels on them, and the taverna offers sunbeds and parasols. Skillful swimmers can also explore the caves but mind that the water may be unusually cold due to underwater currents.
