Sculpture at the center of the beach


Polychrono is located on the east coast of Kassandra, between Kriopygi and Hanioti, about 98 km from Thessaloniki. Its name means very old and the first reports of it date back to 650 B.C.

Most houses are preserved in the traditional for the region Greek style, with stone walls, wooden balconies and a small bright red tiles. All streets of the village lead to the beach. Taverns, bars and cafes are concentrated around the promenade. There are also supermarkets, local bakeries, pharmacies and souvenir shops, hotels of all categories, studios and rooms to rent.
