Pefkoulia
Compared to the other beaches on the west coast of Lefkada, Pefkoulia is easy to access. It is very close to the resort of Agios Nikitas (about 1.5 km) and the road passes right above the beach.
Pefkouli is covered with is a mixture of sand and gravel, and intense waves may be often present. Due to its proximity to the capital and Agios Nikitas, as well as the easy access, it may get crowded in July and August, although it is a long beach. There is only one beach bar offering a limited number of sunbeds so you should bring your own beach umbrella if you decide to visit Pefkoulia.
