Pefkari

Pefkari is one of the smaller villages of Thassos. It is situated in the southern part of the island between Potos and Limenaria, surrounded by pine trees.
Pefkari has several hotels, one campsite, cafes and restaurants. There is one mini market which sales everything - snacks, drinks, newspapers and beach accessories. No ATM is available. Most tourists staying here visit Potos and Limenaria for walking and shopping. There is an asphalt pedestrian alley connecting Pefkari and Limenaria with length of 3 km - it goes in parallel with the main road but it is closer to the sea and you can enjoy sea views on your way. The alley also has some benches.
The beach is about 300 meters long, Blue Flag awarded. The sand is mixed with pebbles. Although the water is crystal clear and transparent, some sea urchins are present. Variety of water sports available in the region - banana, water skiing, parasailing, jet. There is net for beach volleyball.
